Mojo Monday Challenge #88

Here is my Mojo Monday Challenge submission. I really enjoyed this sketch but then I love all sketches. Check out the entire challenge at http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ .

Image is Whiff of Joy, sentiment is Hero Arts. Patterned paper and cardstock is CTMH. Image is colored with Copic Markers. I used some rick rack instead of ribbon to break to the two back colors. I used a glitter pen on the patterned paper and the image to give it a little bit of gliten.

Image is Whiff of Joy of course and colored with Copic Markers. I used doodling to edge the image block. Ribbon is Heidi Grace Designs, patterned paper is Paper Studio, clip is CTMH. Sentiment is Hero Arts. Clear Stamps is the boarder image.

Copic Colour Challenge

This is my take on this week's Copic Colour Challenge. You can check out all the details of the challenge on their blog at http://copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/. It involved using the colors YG63, R59, and C3. I had to make a quick run to town because I didn't have YG63 and of course I need a good excuse to purchase another marker. The main image is a Holly Berry House Medallion and the sentiment is CTMH. Patterned paper is My Mind's Eye and the other card colored cardstocks are Bazzill. I really enjoyed this image as it is one I haven't colored in a very long time but was perfect for these colors. I also used Y21, Y26 for the edge and E11, E13, and E37 for the wicker background. My colorless blender also made an appearance to give the highlights on the apples. The doodles were done with a multi liner.

Here is my take on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, check out the sketch at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/. I just love being inspired by sketches of all types. I twisted this one because my lined paper I thought needed to go another way. I love how it turned out.

I tried out a new tutorial I had printed off ages ago and never got around to making. Playing with some stuff for the Christmas Craft Fair to sell for Scouts.

We had the van looking like a low rider heading back from Scrapfest at MOA. I can't believe we finally got it all in there but we did, here are a few pictures of the totally packed up van.

It is my 20 year class reunion this weekend can you believe it. I can't possibly be that old. So in honor of this humble occassion and for my friends at the Stamp Shack lets revisit all of my 80's hair from Kindergarten to Senior Year shall we.

I never had a change to post photos to the blog from this year's Indianola Classic. So here are a few of the highlights.

Out with the old in with the new

Before with our water damaged floor. Yuckco.

We are getting closer, this is after the cabinets were removed, new sub floor laid and then new tile floor is in and counter is coming this week. I can hardly wait, ham and swiss is getting a little bit old.

The Cast is OFF!!

Yippy!! The cast came off yesterday and now she is just in a wrist brace for a couple of weeks. After that she only has to wear it if she plays soccer. She is totally stoked because she can play in the tournament this weekend in Stuart. Mom is still a little scared because if she gets hit, or falls hard she can break it again. Glad Dad is taking her to the tournament. I am going to be working at the ITU World Cup Tri in Des Moines. Still going to be nervous until they are both back safe and sound that night from the tournament.
